Start to live with more harmony

What you can do to live more harmoniously and become what you are capable of.

Live more consciously:

You can't become the best version of yourself if you live in the past. A wise option is to take responsibility for everything you do.

Define your ambitions:

Living in harmony means having clear life goals but also a clear direction in which you want to go. When you have more clarity about where you want to go, you know what to do.

Take care of yourself:

Otherwise you cannot function at your best. You will feel good about yourself if you have healthy habits, including taking care of your mental, emotional, and physical well-being. When you have productive daily habits, it's a lot easier to focus on what's important.

Surround yourself with people who bring out the best in you. The people you spend most of your time with will influence your way of thinking and attitude. Spend time with people who have achieved what you want in life and learn from them. Their influence can inspire you to learn things, develop skills and challenge yourself to do things that will make you grow.

Acknowledge your mistakes and learn from your past. If you keep judging or criticizing yourself for things you've done, you won't experience inner peace. That also prevents you from moving on, leaving you stuck in the past. If you continue to struggle with this, work with a professional, such as a counselor, therapist, or coach, to make peace with your past.

Organize your closet tidying using Feng Shui principles:

Start by clearing out your wardrobe and selling/taking away things you no longer need. Get more organized and sort your clothes by colour and hang them accordingly, starting with the lightest and ending with the darkest. This ensures a harmonious, balanced Qi. Keep your shoes intact and clean.

These simple steps will help you create a sense of harmony, keep you organized and feel more confident at the start of each day.

Making your bed daily will help minimize stress, increase motivation and start your day well organized. It is also a sign of high self-esteem.

Eastern and Western thinking:

The Eastern way of dealing with each other has a lot to do with how to live in harmony, but also with restraint and balance. In the Far East, hierarchy and social obligations are taken very seriously, with great value being placed on reputation and honour. We Westerners can learn a lot from that, because these standards are aimed at promoting a community with social harmony that are all part of a long, fulfilling and successful life.

This way of life is essential in Eastern culture, and a guideline for how to relate to another. It directs you to authentic thoughts and inner desires.

It really is an art not to say or act directly from your true feelings.

People from the west are more open and often express their feelings more directly. While people from the East more often maintain their respect for tact and good manners.

Westerners also express themselves more flexibly and freely and usually make their own decisions.

The difference in our thinking:

Eastern people often think:

From the inside

Reserved towards others

Acceptance for misses

Orientated more at their Immediate surroundings

Respectfully focused

In the Far East there is more awareness of roles and rituals, which means that there is more interest in the goal of living more harmoniously.
